A short tagline about myself..
prone to smile alot
The last book I read was..
The Long Way Round
The last film I saw was..
Ma Ma Mia, alot of fun
My favourite TV show is..
Have I Got News For You
My current favourite tune is..
Wire to Wire - Razorlight
What friends would say about me..
Analytical, Intuitive, funny (I hope) chaotic and dizzy
My ideal partner would be..
Smart, be able to make me giggle uncontrolably, a young attitude, strong arms
Music I like and bands I've seen..
I have quite an ecclectic taste in music, I like blues, rock, jazz, folk, indie classical and the charts, as long as it's written, performed and produced well. You can't beat live music though and I've been to see Jose Gonzales recently and I have tickets for Jules Holland in October.. I have seen Hawkwind at Stonehenge if that means anything to anybody! If given the opportunity and the time I will jump at the chance to see a band play
My average weekend..
It all depends whether the kids are at home or not. If I'm not buzzing about in the car, visiting various grandparents with the kids or taking the kids to different events, beaches or theme parks I like to go walking, with kids or withoutand take a picnic, sometimes stopping at a country / riverside pub for a quick half and a look at the boats. If I get a chance, I'll go to the theatre or cinema with my friends, maybe going to a pub or club after for a bit of dancing
I would also like to say..
I moved to Norfolk in January, have been seperated for over two years now and was divorced in June so am looking forward to just kicking back and enjoying life. I worked in childcare for a long time in Cornwall but feel that with new life, new place, new start I need a new direction so I've signed up to do photography ( oh heck, haven't got a bloody clue) but have realised that life is too short to worry about making a prat of myself doing things I don't understand, you've just gotta get out there and give it a go. Capable of doing a bit of "The Good Life" thing as I can make my own jam, chutney, bread and cakes. I'm not a bad cook but it's nice to be cooked for I think and am no stranger to chainsawing and chopping my own logs but it would be nice to not have to do it. I enjoy good food, good wine, good beer, good company and good conversation. I spent a long time in the motorcycycling world and really miss bikes, never rode but spent along time travelling pillion and that was great just to be able to jump on the bike and go when you have a freedom whim! Would be nice to just share the good, the bad, the quiet times and the rip roaring fun times, hey ho, just a thought!
