I am looking for a lady with style, appreciates life and is looking for romance.

Music really is a passion of mine, so my tastes are varied and wide. I grew up in the late sixties and just loved the music, it was great time to be a teenager with the likes of The Beatles, Tamla Motown, The Who, Kinks, and then the late 70's with the arrival of Blondie, Dire Straits, Eurythmics, 80's were just brilliant, and with my own teenage children they introduced me to new bands and singers. In the early 90's whilst working in the US I discovered New Country music, absolutley brilliant, Garth Brooks etc.I am a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac and have seen them on a few occasions, Stevie Nicks is just a brilliant female vocalist for Fleetwood Mac. I have been lucky to have seen many concerts over the years, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Moody Blues, to name but a few. I also play guitar and use to play in a band many years ago.

I like to go out during the weekend usually a Friday night, and then spend a more relaxed Saturday night in with a curry or an Italian, some good wine, and of course good company. If the weather is okay I like to go sailing,...... you can tell I am a fair weather sailor!

I am 52 and I am a Managing Director of a company in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. I have many interests, including the aforementioned music, I am also a writer and had my first book published back in 1997. I also love art and I enjoy producing portraits of friends. Time has been my biggest problem in the last few years, my career has been very demanding and it has taken its toll, I now have plenty of time on my hands and would like to share my interests with the right woman. I still feel very young at heart, and I get disapointed when I see friends and colleages who have given up on life, I intend to grow old disgracefully and have a damn good time!! So I am looking for a lady to share my life, who likes to travel, someone who can hold her own, is compassionate, who can laugh at life with all its ups and downs, this has to be a very special lady.
