The morning started really well,
For one, I woke from sleep!!
The sun was up, the sky was blue,
It made me wanna weep!!

I made a nice green smoothie,
And little realized,
This day would just get better
As it materialized.

First, my friend was staying.
She fills a day with zing.
Of men and life and rubbish,
We talk of many things!

I phoned one of my daughters,
who lives too far away.
And couldn't quite believe it
When I heard her say.......

"Get the kettle on ma,"
My heart, I think it stops!
" I'm coming into see you,
15 minutes, tops!"

My other precious daughter,
who just lives up the road,
Walked in with sheds of raspberries.
I thought I would explode!!

So stuff your yachts and diamonds!!
A perfect day to me,
Is sitting, doing nothing
With my friends and family.

Diary, how could life get better. A special kind and gentle man maybe??

I really have surprised myself,
So skeptical was I.
I thought that chat on dating sites
not good, but had to try!

My mind is changed
I even talked to someone voice to voice.
I have to say, that 'Girls Go Free'
Was such a perfect choice.

In life the treats are lessons learned.
Just keep an open mind.
For if you don't, Life has a way
of leaving you behind!!

Diary let me tell you
There ain't no place like home.
I've been away an awefull lot
And now have ceased to roam.
The gardens like a jungle
with weeds up to the sky.
The path has nearly disappeared
The bird bath's waved goodbye!!
Today I worked my b..t off
A rose thorn ripped my lip.
The worse news is
The stuff I've cut must go up to the tip.

With all this global warming
Governments such a chump!!
There's billions of cars recycling and going up the dump??

Arn't cars damaging the ozone layer??

Can't get my head round it diary!!

Hello diary, here we are with lots and lots to share.
My friend has B&B, I went to help her there.
All the way to Falmouth, but without a doubt,
Well and truly worth it, to help a buddy out!

I started off the week in a quaint old Paignton bar,
Watching Burlesque dancers
Who took it all too far.
The bands were rather noisy
But once we'd had some wine
It all sounds quite fantastic and blends in really fine!!

In fact we all were dancing, it seemed, like Fred Astairs
The joy of loads of bevys, it makes you unawares!!
I wish we'd shared dear diary, as I danced around the floor.
I guess I'd better close now...can't remember any more.

Diary, let me tell you
this day has been such fun.
It started juicing wheat grass,
then lounging in the sun.
I went to post a letter
A friend said "come with me"
We toddled to our local pub
And had a chat and tea.
Now the day is over
dear diary, days not planned
are such a splendid treat.
Now I'm off to sleepy land.
