Coast to Coast cycle ride

I'm going to attempt the coast to coast cycle ride in June. I usually cycle to bideford along the tarka trail from barnstaple and back on a weekend. I also cycle to instow or braunton couple of times during the week. I cycled to ilfracombe first time couple of days ago. Took main rd there and cycle path back! It was gale force winds so very very hard work! Glad i done it tho. Gonna attempt half the coast to coast ride tomorrow. Wish me luck! p.s anyone else doing it?
